The Tree of Life is one of the most famous symbols of Celtic mythology and probably the most important of Druidism.
In the imagination of the early Celts, the cosmos was a huge tree: its roots penetrated deep into the earth and its branches reached high up into the sky. He is a symbol of the balance between these worlds; The union from above and below; A symbol of balance and harmony. Its roots and branches form the cosmos, in which all things are connected.
The Tree of Life is a timeless symbol of the renewal, rebirth and indestructible power of life.

The Oghamschrift was used in Ireland and some western parts of Britain and Scotland, respectively, from the 4th to the 6th century, to offer short texts, most of them personal names, on the edges of Ogham stones or other supporting materials. It is the writing of the druids and later of the witches. The name of the book has strong etymological parallels with Ogma or Ogmios, the old-Irish god of revelation. Whether this God is the author of the Scriptures or whether the folk etymology produced the reference in hindsight can not be clarified.
